| House Cleaning 101 |
ORDER OF CHORES-3 3/4 Hours
TO START - 10 Minutes
Strip beds, wash sheets & pillowcases. Later wash towels & bathroom rugs seperately.
Kitchen - 30 Minutes
Dust using duster, microfiber cloths & sable brudh(cabinets,fridge top, vents, knick knackd) Wash dishes, Cean appliances wipe down counters. Remove trash, rinse out trash can. Dust & wipe down baseboards. Vacuum & mop floor. Rinse and dry sink.
Check on laundry: Move from washer to dryer, start second load.
Bathrooms - 50 minutes
Spray cleaner on shower tile/glass surround, fixtures & tub. Let it sit. Spray toilet exterior; put cleaner in bowl.
Start high and dust ceilings, light fixtures, vents, tops of doors. Clean walls, doors and light switches. Clean mirror & vanity, polish sink fixtures Clean shower surround and tile, recesed soap dish and tub.
Remove trash, wash tile baseboards, vacuum floor, then mop. Wash, rinse & dry sink. Clean toilet. Replenish towels.
Bedrooms - 40 minutes
Start high N dust ceilings, vents, door frame tops, pictures. dust lampshades & light bulbs with brush. Use cloths for lamps & furniture. Remove dust & replace all objects, wipe down flat surfaces Vacuum behind nightstands and under bed; put on clean linens. Remove trash. Vacuum baseboards and wipe down. Vacuum and dampmop wood floors. Vacuum rug.
Hallways and stairs - 20 minutes
Clean from top to bottom all vents, door frames, light switchrs, pictures, furniture, etc. Vacuum stair carpeting, use damp cloth for wood railing and flooring.
15 minutes; Powder room -Same as bathroom above.
Living and Dining Room - 60 Minutes
Clean all surfaces from ceiling downward. Remove all objects from furniture dust them, clean surfacrs and replace. Follow procedure for lamps, pictures etc. Vacuum furniture with attentio to pet hair, vacuum underneath furniture and cabinetry. Fluff upholstery. Empth trash. dust baseboards and vacuum foor toware the exit.
Spend the next 30 minutes on special projects.
ie: China Closet, flower arranging for tables. windows, entry doors etc.
TIP: Fiber Gloss is great for tub and shower surronds, repels soap scum & water stains. DO NOT POLISH SHOWER OR TUB BOTTOM***
